Before Carl and I became a couple, I was a private individual. To be perfectly honest, I was leading a pretend life. All my friends and family thought things were great, but the truth was I was lonely, sad, and couldn't bring myself to posting lies. Not only did Carl change those feelings for me, but when I saw how all his Facebook posts on what we were doing in our spare time together inspired others, it made me realize that we were doing something worthy. So here we are starting a blog together. Based on a few simple truths: honesty, love, health, and the wonder of nature. I hope you enjoy following along as we share the places we go and the things we see, usually for only the cost of the gas to get where we are going.
