Hi! We are Carl and Birgitta,

A little background story on us.

We met in 2007, partnered together to work large Corporate Statewide conventions.  Over the years of working together on quarterly events we built a trusting friendship.  As time moved on and we went on separate paths, we remained distance friends, talking on the phone occasionally to catch up on our lives.

Fast forward almost 10 years later, both of us were now single and looking for more enjoyment and fulfillment out of life.  The dating scene for seniors can be complicating and exhausting with decades of baggage to share and hopefully not get judged. 

But, we already  knew each others history, mistakes, and achievements.  There was nothing to prove.  So we literally  went out for dinner one day and had a conversation, discussing the possibility of taking our friendship to the next level.  We kept all cards on the table.  From expectations to wishes and desires.

So here we are today, doing what we both love, with someone else who loves the same things we do.  No complaining, no whining, and definitely no pretending.  Every smile is genuine!

We have not only learned through experience, but confirmed two very important things:

1) Money absolutely does not buy happiness.  It is used by many as an escape to purchase fulfillment that is not being received from a sincere loving partner.  Money, however, can be an enhancement to a loving foundation.

2) Opposites may attract, but they don't last.  Opposites are exciting in the beginning because it is different and new.  Unfortunately, after awhile the new wears off and becomes a nuisance.  We are very similar and therefore completely understand each others quirks.  It actually gives us something to laugh about rather than getting upset.
